SPECIAL LIMITED EDITION:  This print is signed both by Harmon Killebrew and Walt. A limited individually numbered prints are available.

Harmon Killebrew had a long career in the American League playing for the Washington Senators 1954-160, Minnesota Twins 1961-1974 and finally with the Kansas City Royals in 1975. He is known for the fear he put in pitchers when he stepped up to the plate. In reality, he was a soft-spoken gentleman from a small town in Payette, Idaho where he was discovered by the Senators in 1954. Killebrew was the 10th player to join the 500 home run club. By the time he retired he had delivered  573 home runs and was ranked fifth at that time on the all-time list. Killebrew  played in 2,435 games, accumulating 2,086 hits and 573 home runs. He ended his 22-year career with 13 All-Star games, eight 40+ home run seasons, leading the American League in home runs six times  and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1984 when writers named him on 83.1 percent of ballots cast.

Harmon Kilabrew is one of only two individuals to have an entire evening show of Late Night with David Letterman devoted to him.  In late 1985 Letterman scheduled a show "First Annual Holiday Film Festival" and asked Kilabrew to make a short film for the show.  Kilbrew refused several requests only agreeing when Letterman sent a film crew and $10,000 to Kilabrew for the filming.  Due to other films running long, Kilabrew's was cut from the aired show - mortifying Letterman since Kilabrew had flown to NY for the show.  David prmoised to make it up to Harmon and on February 11, 1986 he scheduled a show devotes to Harmon.
